Nordpass, a VPN company, has once again collected the weakest passwords of the year, and the situation has not improved.

If we want to remember our passwords, coming up with them can be a somewhat creative task, but as Nordpass's annual list shows, we don't spend much time on this critical step.

Nordpass commissioned a survey again this year and compiled a list of the most terrible passwords of 2021, and the results are troubling once again.

According to the company, last year's number one, 123456, was not to be dethroned this year either, with the combination that can be cracked in less than a second and chosen more than 130 million times.

The second and third places are very similar, with 123456789, which seems more complex but is just as quick to guess, being used 46 million times, and 12345 is used 32 million times.

Fourth, the alphabetical equivalent of the first digits, qwerty, was chosen 22 million times for security purposes.

Here is the list of the TOP 20 worst passwords of this year:

Please stop using these passwords immediately; instead, use a secure password generator and create a unique password for each account. In addition to using complex passwords, use a password manager and multi-factor authentication.
